EDISON — Many of The Wardlaw-Hartridge School’s most talented singers and musicians displayed their talents at the annual Music Recital on April 7. The one-hour recital included vocals and instrumentals from students in all three divisions of the school.
The Wardlaw-Hartridge Percussion Ensemble with Astitva Soni of Edison, Akash Dalal of Scotch Plains and William Garner of South Plainfield opened the recital with Barnstormer. MadJazz, with sopranos Briana Crawley of Rahway, Julia Linger of Cranford, Neelam Patel of Edison and Brianna Gutierrez of Metuchen, altos Mairead Forrest of Parlin, Sarah Chalabi of Westfield, Makena Mugambi and Nikki Mugambi of Edison, tenors Zach More of Scotch Plains, Alam Merchant of Edison, Yousaf Razvi of Somerset and Jack Schildge of Westfield and basses Pierre Bouley of Edison, Nick Davis of Union and Zubin Mulji of Edison sang Weep O Mine Eyes.
