CLARK — During the month of April, the second and third grade students at Frank K. Hehnly and Valley Road School in Clark have been exploring their personal strengths. As part of the guidance curriculum, Elementary Guidance Counselor Ashley Aligo has been talking to second and third grade classes about each student’s positive qualities.
The students made their own personal strength kites. On the kite, they put their name, and on each bow of the tail, students wrote what they thought their best positive qualities are. After their kites were assembled, students had the opportunity to present their kite and share their strengths with the class.
