Woodbridge Middle Schools Compete in First Annual Health Bee

WOODBRIDGE — On Thursday, April 11, Iselin and Fords middle schools competed in the first annual Health Bee sponsored by United Healthcare. The Health Bee was put together to bring attention to the issue of childhood obesity and the need for greater health literacy and physical activity among children.

The program was conducted in two parts with an elimination round, followed by an intermission and a final round between the top three qualifying schools. Categories included nutrition, fitness and general health and science.
