CLARK — Students from Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark, have been studying a unit on stocks in their Money Management class with their teacher Mrs. Golinowski.

Today they went to the Information Media Center to use the computers and any of the financial resources available to them such as the New York Times, Fortune Magazine, and Consumers Reports to find a stock they would like to buy. They were to research a company that they thought would be a good investment. They were told to look at the companies’ earnings for the past three years, current price of their stock, the 52 week high and low price, if the company paid dividends and if so how much, and what is the stock’s current price to earnings ratio. Based upon their findings they had to justify why they were going to invest in a particular company.
