NEWARK – The Assembly Budget Committee will hold its last public hearing in Newark Tuesday on the proposed state budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Rutgers-Newark campus, Center for Law and Justice, 2nd Floor, 123 Washington St., Newark.
Tuesday’s hearing focuses on education, higher education and local government issues, but testimony on any other subject is also welcome.
This will be the third and last public hearing held by the Assembly Budget Committee.
