[PHOTO] Freeholders Honor MCC Alum Who Saved Man’s Life

MIDDLESEX COUNTY — The Middlesex County Freeholders honored Niketan “Nick” Diora (Old Bridge), a Middlesex County College alumnus, who saved a man’s life on a flight from India in February. The man suffered a heart attack and Diora, a fellow passenger, took charge of the situation. The man had lost consciousness and had no pulse so Diora evaluated his condition, opened the man’s shirt and administered the defibrillator. He gave him two shocks; on the second the man regained consciousness. The freeholders also cited the instructor who taught Diora numerous lifesaving and first aid classes at the College, Rhonda Zampetti (Edison).
