FEMA Invites Young People To Apply To Join Youth Preparedness Council

STATE– FEMA invites youths age 12 – 17 to apply for the National Youth Preparedness Council.  Council members will complete a preparedness project of their choosing, participate in conference calls with emergency management leadership, and provide input on important strategies and initiatives.

A summit will be held in the summer of 2013, involving selected members of the Council.  The web site with application materials, FAQs and other information may be found at  www.ready.gov/youth-preparedness .
