Union County Police Blotter: Officers Make Drug Arrests In Clark, Elizabeth, Hillside & Plainfield

March 8 at 1:52 p.m. – Officer Richard Rijos arrested Linden resident Damar Long at the Garden State Parkway in Clark, following a motor vehicle stop. Long was charged with possession of marijuana and a motor vehicle violation. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance in Clark municipal court.

March 8 at 2:09 p.m. – Officer Giovanni Arlia arrested Trenton resident Akeem Onitiri, 26, following a motor vehicle stop on Murray Street in Elizabeth. Onitiri was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and two motor vehicle violations. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance in Elizabeth municipal court.

March 9 at 2:49 p.m. – Officer Giovanni Arlia arrested Elizabeth resident Osvaldo Rosado, 23, on Hillside Avenue in Hillside following a motor vehicle stop. Rosado was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and two motor vehicle violations. He was also was wanted for outstanding warrants from Elizabeth and Clark. Rosado  was processed and transported to Elizabeth Police headquarters regarding the outstanding warrants.

March 18 at 5:15 p.m. – Cpl. Sean Dougherty and Officer Kenneth Matz arrested Plainfield residents Lewis Quashjan, 25, Sarah Joseph-Dullon, 20, and Kyheem Thompson, 21 at Beechwood Court, Plainfield. They were charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.  Thompson and Joseph-Dullon were processed and released on their own recognizance pending a court appearance in Plainfield municipal court. Quashjan was wanted out of Somerset County Sheriff’s Department on an outstanding warrant.
