TRENTON — Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is worth up to an estimated $260 million.
No one has won the game’s top prize since a Richmond, Va. sold a ticket for the $217 million jackpot in the Feb. 6 drawing. However, one New Jersey Lottery player won $1 million in Saturday’s drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Soda King in Manalpan in Monmouth County.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, Mar. 16 drawing were: 03, 07, 21, 44 and 53. The Red Power Ball number was 16.
In addition to the $1 million prize winner, two New Jersey Lottery had two $10,000 winners on Saturday. One winning ticket was purchased at Jersey Pride in Lincroft in Monmouth County; the other was sold by Love’s Travel Stop #404 in Bordentown in Burlington County. According to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger, 71,339 other New Jersey players took home $387,091 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.
Tonight’s Powerball drawing will be shown live at 11 p.m. on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net, and on CBS digital stations WLNY 10/55 and CW Philly 57.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510; the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 31.85.
