CLARK — This week ,the students in Miss Franko’s Earth Science classes at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark moved around the classroom as they traveled through the rock cycle. The past few weeks students have learned about the three different types of rocks and how they change from one to another through a process called the rock cycle. Each student walked around the room on their own and rolled a dice that instructed them what station to visit next. At each new station, there was a new instruction of where to move. At the end of the activity each student had their own journey through the rock cycle that was unlike anyone else’s, just like real rocks. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
