METUCHEN — The Edgar Middle School Science Team, comprised of 25 students in grades 6-8, finished in second place in the St. Joseph’s High School Fifth Annual Middle School Science Bowl. The Edgar Middle School team finished in first place after the written portion of the competition but fell to Highland Park in the buzzer round. Seventh grade student Kassia Antin was the top Edgar scorer in the written round, finishing in third place overall. Participants in the buzzer round included Kassia Antin, Siri Uppuluri, Anton Popov, and Divij Gupta.
