SPRINGFIELD — A church in Union that has outgrown its facilities is swapping buildings with a church in Springfield. Beginning on Sunday, April 7, Calvary Assembly of God will hold services at the Liberty Church building on 242 Shunpike Road in Springfield, while the Liberty congregation will move to Calvary Assembly’s current building at 953 West Chestnut Street in Union.

The Liberty building seats approximately 600, while the Calvary Assembly building only seats 260. The new location will allow Calvary Assembly to combine all of its Sunday morning worship services. At the new location, Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the morning worship service will start at 10:30 a.m. Evening services will by offered at 6 p.m. on Sundays and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
