CLARK — In preparation for St. Patrick’s Day, students in Olivia Gerlitz’s fifth grade class at Valley Road School in Clark took the opportunity to set individual goals for the end of the school year. Working under the theme “5E’s Pot of Goals,” students each wrote their contribution on a circular gold piece of paper. Some students shared that they wanted to improve their handwriting, be a better listener, talk to new people and help around school more. When they were finished, all of the gold put together in a pot at the end of the rainbow to symbolize that if we work together anything is possible.
