SOUTH ORANGE — The Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition will meet on Sunday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chancellor’s Suite in Seton Hall University, South Orange. Italian-Americans who are tired of the negative portrayal their heritage are invited to attend the free event.
ONE VOICE President Andre’ DiMino and Chairman and founding member Dr. Manny Alfano will present an overview of ONE VOICE’s triumphs over bias and its never-ending challenges. Other prominent speakers will soon be announced.
The Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition is the nation’s only Italian American organization whose sole mandate is to fight stereotypes and bias against Italian Americans. ONE VOICE is recruiting proud members who are ready, willing and able to phone, email, fax and write letters to work against instances of bias and discrimination.
ONE VOICE has created the first-ever nationwide “rapid response” network of defenders and freedom writers who are activated quickly to respond to bias and stereotyping through emails, letters, phone calls, through its Facebook page, Twitter account, posts and website.
In order to ensure adequate seating for our attendees, RSVP Dr. Alfano at email@example.com. Light refreshments including coffee, tea, water, bagels and buns will be available.
