LINDEN — The Sandy Hook Marine Consortium recently visited Linden School No. 1 and presented a program to the kindergarten students about shells. Students were asked to find shells in the sandboxes that were provided and then identify them from pictures. The final investigation was for them to look at the makeup of shells through a microscope. The lesson ended with a craft project. Pictured is Derek Stash making an observation using the microscope in Ms. Kurzweil’s class. (Photo by School No. 1)
