SCOTCH PLAINS — Oasis Church will be celebrating Easter Sunday in two non-traditional locations at 10 a.m. on March 31. Oasis will be worshiping at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium at 1000 Corporate Ct in South Plainfield, as well as the ballroom of Snuffy’s Pantagis Renaissance at 250 Park Avenue in Scotch Plains.
At each location guests can expect to enjoy a time of joyful music with live bands and a relevant message of hope. Oasis will also be having an Easter Egg Hunt along with an opportunity for kids to with a chance for kids to also get their picture with Easter Bunny after the one hour service. So what can guests expect on Easter Sunday? According to Lead Pastor at Oasis, David Butler, “Guests at each location will be greeted warmly with a bulletin and a smile and nice drink at our welcome tables, and each guest will also receive a special gift for celebrating Easter with us. The regular service and kids program ends after about one hour, so families can enjoy the rest of the day doing other fun stuff ,like having Easter Brunch at the nearby restaurants in both South Plainfield and Scotch Plains.
Oasis Church is an new family friendly, casual Christian church known for its awesome contemporary band and practical , Biblical messages based on every day life. Easter begins the countdown of monthly services at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium (future services will be held on May 5, June 2, June 30, July 28, and Aug. 25), leading up to the weekly launch on Sept. 15 at this second site. All service times here will remain at 10 a.m. at the Regal Cinema
Oasis already meets weekly every Sunday at Snuffy’s Pantagis at 250 Park Ave in Scotch Plains, at the regular time of 11 a.m.
