GARWOOD – Police arrested a 24-year-old Clark woman who allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven on North Avenue at knifepoint and later falsely claimed she was mugged, the Clark-Garwood Patch reports.
According to the report, Jamie Knack confessed to the robbery, which took place around 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. She also reportedly told police that she claimed to have been mugged to explain injuries she sustained when she fell while fleeing the scene
Knack was charged with robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
As with all criminal defendants, the charges against Knack are merely accusations and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
