SOMERSET — A rose pruning lecture and hands-on workshop, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 9, will be held this Saturday, March 16  from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden in Colonial Park, Parking Lot A, Somerset (Franklin Township).

The program has been designed to provide all of the basics necessary to ensure a season of healthy roses. Bring leather gloves and pruning equipment to learn first-hand what needs to be done and remember to dress appropriately.

Fee is $12 per person and class is limited to 30 people. Participants may register at the Horticulture Office at Colonial Park, Lot F or by calling 1-732-873-2459 ext. 21 Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm. Individuals with a hearing or speech impairment may use the NJ Relay Service at 711.
