ROSELLE – The improbable story of Jesse Holley, brother of Mayor Jamel Holley, will soon be headed to a theater near you.

Sony Pictures has signed a deal to produce a film about Jesse Holley’s NFL career, which got started when he received an invitation to the Dallas Cowboys’ training camp after winning a reality series, 4th and Long.

A wide receiver, Holley played for Dallas in 2010 and 2011. In a 2011 game against the San Francisco 49ers, he made a 77-yard reception that set up an overtime victory.

According to Deadline Hollywood, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin will serve as an executive producer for the film and Dan Lindsay and TJ Martin, who won an Academy Award for their documentary Undefeated, will direct.
