Wardlaw-Hartridge Athletes Named to All-GMC Teams


EDISON — Several athletes from The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison were presented with certificates for being selected to Greater Middlesex Conference All-Division winter teams. Alyssa Kennedy, a senior from Elizabeth, also earned overall All-Conference recognition in swimming.

Kennedy was joined by her swimming teammates James Berry of Edison, Cameron Cabrera of Carteret, Cecily D’Amore of Scotch Plains, Marcel Green of North Plainfield, Shafeeq Ibraheem of Piscataway, Haley Needle of Scotch Plains, Jack Schildge of Westfield, Stephanie Smyczek of Edison, Kimberly Son of Woodbridge and Tal Sherman of Plainfield.

Track and field athlete Nkirote Mugambi of Plainfield and basketball players Justen Davis of Edison and Taylor Gerhart of Winfield Park also were named to their respective All-Division teams.
