TRENTON – The Powerball jackpot for the drawing on Saturday, March 9, has reached an estimated $150 million.
While no one won the game’s top prize on Wednesday, March 6, Powerball produced one more New Jersey millionaire when that player matched the 5 white balls selected in that night’s drawing. The winning $1 million ticket was sold in Essex County at Mahavir, Inc., 16-26 No. Day St., Orange.
The New Jersey Lottery also had two other lucky players win the Powerball third prize of $10,000. One of those winning tickets was purchased at the Lodi Mini Mart & Liquor, while the other ticket was bought in Camden County at the Cottage Deli & Grocery in Somerdale.
In addition to the Garden State’s second and third prize winners, 38,010 other New Jersey players took home $211,902 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Mar. 6 drawing were: 06, 10, 23, 41, and 45. The Red Power Ball number was 01.
