WOODBRIDGE — The three third grade classes of Kennedy Park Elementary School in Woodbridge held their first Invention Convention on Tuesday, March 5. They have been learning about creative ways to solve problems, so they worked on inventions to solve problems in their own lives. Each student created a poster displaying their invention, explaining the problem, and describing how the invention works. Some students created models of their inventions to display along side their posters. The inventions were displayed in the All Purpose Room and parents were invited in to see the exhibits. There was a great turn-out, and Mayor John E. McCormac even stopped by. Pictured above are members of Miss Ginfrida’s class (Photo courtesy of Kennedy Park Elementary School)
