NEW BRUNSWICK – The members of five graduating classes between 1967 and 1971 are being invited to a class reunion aimed at raising funds for the New Brunswick Education Foundation.
A large number of graduates are expected to attend the fundraiser, which is set for Saturday, March 9, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the New Brunswick Elks Lodge 324, located at 40 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick.
Admission to the event is free, but is limited to graduates of the classes of 1976, 1968. 1969, 1970 and 1971, and their friends and spouses. Teachers, coaches and administrators from those years also are invited.
Guests are asked to bring a simple food dish, such as pasta, salad, sub sandwiches, chips, dips, wings, cheese boards, veggie boards, and desserts to share with their classmates.
There will be a cash bar at the Elks Lodge and all proceeds will be donated to the New Brunswick Education Foundation.
The reunion, expected to be the largest of its kind, will include dancing with music from the 60s and 70s. The music will be provided by the Elks Lodge though its quality sound system.
Anyone with questions is asked to contact Jeff Harkins by leaving a message at the Elks Lodge at 1-732-545-0658, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
