CLARK – On Friday, March 1, the National Junior Honor Society from Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark visited both Valley Road and Hehnly Elementary Schools to share their love of reading with the younger students in the district. The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the students involved. The elementary school students were encouraged to ask questions and make predictions as the NJHS members read. In addition to promoting the importance of reading, this day commemorates the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
