Clark Police Blotter: Roselle Resident Charged With Theft

Feb. 26 at 9:39 a.m. - In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Det. A. Manata arrested Whitehouse Station resident Eladia Mercedes, 25. She was charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. and detained on outstanding warrants totaling $4,000 for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Readington Police Department.

Feb. 26 at 4:13 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Roselle resident Tina Ortiz, 41, who was charged with theft. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Feb. 27 at 5:11 p.m. – In the vicinity of Alice Lane, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Carteret resident Ismail Azeem, 28, on outstanding warrants totaling $917 from South Plainfield for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the South Plainfield Police Department

March 1 at 3:03 p.m. – At a Featherbed Lane address, Detective George Marmarou arrested Clark resident Frank Merowchek, 35, who was charged with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
