WOODBRIDGE – Woodbridge Center’s March 16 Prom Jam event aims to help high school students getting ready for the big event. With more than 15 specialty fashion and accessories shops, hairstylists and make-up artists, the mall will showcase the best of the best during Prom Jam.
Prom Jam festivities kick off at noon with live entertainment, mall prizes, a Prom Jam free photo booth and numerous retailer displays. Prom Jam also will showcase two fashion shows at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., each displaying the newest in prom and after-prom fashions from exclusive Woodbridge Center retailers.
The fashion shows will be hosted by Vinnie Medugno along with Kenley Collins and Christopher Palu, both former contestants and fan favorites from Lifetime Network’s Project Runway. Students from nearby high schools also will participate by modeling and showcasing prom fashions.
To add to the days’ activities, Woodbridge Center will welcome several performers to the Prom Jam stage including American Idol season eight contestant Julissa Veloz; and rising pop sensation Ashley Allen. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet their favorite celebs in-between Prom Jam fashion shows.
Woodbridge Center is also hosting an Instagram contest to coincide with Prom Jam where shoppers who visit the Mall have the opportunity to locate and pose in front of a POSE-CLICK-SHARE cut-out for their chance to win a $200 Shop Etc. mall gift card, just in time for prom season.
