CLARK — Students from Mrs. Golinowski’s first period Money Management class at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark are working hard on a research assignment in the Media Center. Students were given an assignment to research various investments. The students were posed with the following scenario where they inherited $5,000 from a relative who stipulated they invest the money responsibly. The students were to use the internet, personal finance magazines such as Money, Consumer Reports and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance to find information regarding bonds, mutual funds, stocks, and certificate of deposits. They were then to spread their inheritance among the four investment choices and explain which stock, fund, bond and CD they chose and how much they were investing in each. Pictured above sitting from left to right are Annie Fagan, Giovanni Fagan, Matthew Berko and Youseff Hijazi.
