CLARK — Laura Venezio’s second grade class at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark celebrated the 100th day of school earlier this week. When students came in this morning they were greeted with a sticker and a bracelet that read “I am a 100 day smart cookie.” Their classroom door had a sign in the doorway that said “we are 100 days smarter” it had streamers hanging down that the kids walked through. The class activities for the day included 100 minutes of reading, writing and spelling 100 kind words, writing 100 word stories, completing an “I’m a smart cookie activity” where they wrote down what they could now do compared to the first day of school.
