RAHWAY – Each year, Rahway High School Biology classes engage in an “Edible Cell” contest which is an activity designed to expand students’ knowledge and engage their palates. To help students understand the components of cells, they craft cell models using cake, candy, nuts, fruit, and frosting.
The grand prize winners for Adrienne Barnes’ Honors Biology students were Kaitlyn Fleischman and Juliet Mendoza-Castillo with two Runners-up: Kaleigh Marquez and Kanishka Parikh.
