CLARK — Students in Christine Cemelli’s fourth grade class at Valley Road School invited friends and family to come in and celebrate Presidents Day. The students researched different articles and read many books about past presidents in order to create a biography of their life.

On Presidents Day, the class dressed up to look like different presidents, and presented the information they gathered in front of an audience filled with parents, grandparents, educators, and siblings.

Cemelli states, “The students were anxious to learn new information about the presidents in history! Once they gathered their information and created a summary, they were eager to present everything they learned to the people that matter most to them. It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to see the amazing, hard work these students put into their daily lives at school!”
