Benedictine Academy Announces 2nd Q Honor Roll

ELIZABETH—Benedictine Academy, the all-female Catholic college prep high school in Elizabeth, has released its second quarter honor roll. Sixty-nine students at the Academy were named based on outstanding academic performance. They were honored at a celebratory breakfast earlier this month.

Named to first honors at the Academy were:

  • Grade 12- Kai Alexander of Irvington; and Martha Devia and Julissa Salermo, both of Elizabeth;
  • Grade 11- Ewa Kowalczyk of Elizabeth; Joyce Mendoza of Union; Germilda Saint-Victor of Hillside; and Sidney Sigue of Elizabeth;
  • Grade 10- Aleah Butler-Jones of Orange; Eileen Conaty of Clark; Grace Otoigiakhi of Hillside; Mary Angeline Palma of Union; Karol Ann Pierre of Vauxhall; Kayla Roque and Marina Santiago, both of Newark; and Stephanie Simoes of Union;
  • Grade 9- Dawn Arumemi of West Orange; Shaylah Brown of Newark; Kathleen Conaty of Clark; Destinee Garrity of Newark; and Elizabeth Palma and Karen Thompson, both of Union.

First honors students must maintain a 93 average and above in all subjects.
