One choice can change many lives... Faith or Fate by John Ruggiero

UNION — Actor Avi Hoffman will bring his one-man show, Still Jewish After All These Years – A Life In The Theatre to the auditorium of the YM-YWHA of Union County, 501 Green Lane, Union for a single performance on Sunday, March 10 from 1-3 p.m.

Hoffman has created an all new production featuring humorous storytelling with well-loved Broadway music. The show is an intimate and nostalgic journey through Hoffman’s career in show business.

Theater critic Peter Filichia said, “Avi Hoffman offers up a non-stop display of enthusiasm, a terrific delivery with jokes and an amusing way with a song. The show is called ‘Still Jewish… After All These Years.’ But, for all the Yiddish expressions that pepper the script, what Hoffman has to say about family, ambition, success and failure makes the show transcend matters of race or creed. It’s universal.”

Tickets are available by calling the Y at 1-908-289-8112 and are priced at $18 in advance and $20 at the door, with a $5 discount for students and seniors.

The event is sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women, Union County Section and the YM-YWHA of Union County.
