LINDEN — Linden High School Spanish exchange students and their teachers visited one of the most important national parks of the region of Murcia, Spain, known as el Valle y Carrascoy. They hiked through the hills adjacent to El Valle de la Luz, where the ancient Iberos, original inhabitants of the region lived, prospered, and made offerings to the goddess Demeter, protector of nature. Seen here, they hiked through the area, as they enjoyed and learned about the park, hiking practices, fauna and flora distinctive of the area. (Photo courtesy of Linden Public Schools)
