SCOTCH PLAINS – On Feb. 7, Union Catholic High School freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior Emerging Leaders had the opportunity to Skype with Archbishop John Myers. The students asked Archbishop Myers a series of prepared questions ranging from his favorite hobbies to his concerns for the Catholic Church and the Archdiocese. Myers gave the students thoughtful responses and even told them a bit about what he was like as a high school student. Aside from the Skype session with the archbishop, many Union Catholic religion classes had another opportunity to learn about different vocations on Feb. 7, as members of the Franciscan order joined the UC Community to share their vocations with students. Pictured is sophomore Adrien Cortizo as he asks his question of Archbishop John Myers.
