BERGEN COUNTY – Last month, Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan decided to replace the county’s longtime insurance broker with a firm headed by South Jersey political boss George E. Norcross. Now the replaced company is calling for state and federal authorities to investigate the arrangement, according to a report by the Bergen Record.
Bergen County officials denied that the change in brokers was politically motivated.
