TRENTON – With no jackpot winners since Dec. 26, 2012, the Powerball top prize has reached an estimated $176 million for the next drawing, on Saturday, Feb. 2.
Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players did win the Powerball third prize of $10,000 in the Wednesday, Jan. 30 drawing. One of the winning tickets was sold at Martin’s News in Jersey City, while the other was purchased at B&J Market in Lake Hopatcong.
According to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger, 40,813 New Jersey Lottery players took home an estimated $219,216 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200 from the Jan. 30 drawing.
The winning numbers for Wednesday, Jan. 30, were: 14, 16, 32, 47 and 52. The Red Power Ball number was 16.
Saturday’s Powerball drawing will be shown live on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net, at 11 p.m.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510; the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 31.85.
