Local Students Receive Degrees From Chatham University

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Karen Hoover of Cranford and Euginia Mabongi Mgidi of Edison¬†graduated from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Dec. 16, 2012 during the Commencement Ceremony held at the University’s Athletic and Fitness Center. They both graduated with a doctor of occupational therapy degree.

This year’s Commencement Ceremony celebrated the graduation of Chatham’s 142nd class of undergraduate women and its 20th class of graduate women and men. Commencement exercises included include graduates from each of the University’s three colleges: Chatham College for Women (undergraduate), the College for Graduate Studies, and the College for Continuing and Professional Studies — as well as graduates from the School of Sustainability and the Environment.

Chatham University, founded in 1869, is located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pa.
