CLARK — Ms. Picciano and Ms. Hull, eighth grade math and algebra teachers at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark, recently became the Math Club’s newest advisors. Their first meeting was held last Wednesday with a turnout of over 30 students.
During the meeting, students were able to discuss upcoming events and activity ideas while enjoying some tasty snacks after a long day of school. On behalf of the Math Club, students planned to prepare a boardwalk-style game for Kumpf’s Boardwalk Night, a basket raffle event to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy. And, since March 14 is around the corner, students also planned to organize some fun events for Pi-Day.
