EAST BRUNSWICK — If you and your spouse are looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night on the town, but don’t want to drop the kids at Grandma’s again, 4-H has got a deal for you. On Saturday, Feb. 9, Middlesex County 4-H will host a Valentine’s Day “Parents Night Out” event at the 4-H Youth Center, 645 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick from 5-10 p.m.
Once parents drop off their children, 4-H adult volunteers and teen leaders will supervise their guests with activities for youth. Kids will take part in games, crafts, cupcake decorating, and will make Valentine’s cards for their parents. A movie will be shown at the end of the evening. Snacks and drinks will be provided. 4-H adult volunteers and teen leaders have been certified by Rutgers Cooperative Extension to provide quality care and programming to youth in a safe environment.
