CLARK — Students in Christine Cemelli’s fourth grade class at Valley Road School in Clark continue to explore multiples and factors during an Everyday Math activity. They have been learning about multiplication and had an opportunity to review in a very fun way. The students sat on the carpet and played an Everyday Math game, Buzz. The students had to go around and think of what the multiples were of a specific number and say “Buzz” instead of the multiple. Cemelli said, “The class really enjoyed the activity. By the end of the game the students had a deeper understanding of what a multiple was and how to find it!” Students Haley Knorowski, Natalie DeRose, Gabby Scipioni, Ryan Cotay, Jack Young and Gabe Rizzuto are pictured above.
