SCOTCH PLAINS – Oasis-Church-NJ.com, a 2 year old non-denominational Christian church with 2 locations in central New Jersey, is moving from its current Springfield location. At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, Oasis will begin celebrating worship services at the Famous Snuffy’s Pantagis Renaissance ballrooms.
Situated at the corner of Route 22 East and 250 Park Avenue in Scotch Plains, the church will have use of the entire second floor & third floors for their worship services and Oasis Kids programs. Why the move? According to Dave Butler, lead pastor at Oasis, “Although we were pleased at Hotel 304 West, we basically had no more room to grow. The ballrooms at Snuffy’s Pantagis will not only give us the room to grow our regular Sunday morning services, but also our Oasis kids age graded Sunday school programs, which are a big priority for us. Personally, as a native of Scotch Plains and the surrounding area, I’m also really excited to be coming home to the town I grew up in.”
In order to help attendees enjoy their Sundays even more, Oasis has partnered with Snuffy’s Pantagis in order to help guests save money on eating out after services. All Oasis attendees of the Grand Re-Opening Celebration and all future services (with submission of Oasis card) will receive 20% off food and drinks at the Famous Snuffy’s Steakhouse Restaurant located right on the premises.
On Easter Sunday, Oasis will be celebrating simultaneous Easter Sunday church services and Ester Egg Hunts at the special time of 10 a.m. One service will be at Snuffy’s Pantagis, while the other will be at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium located in South Plainfield. At the latter location, Oasis in Middlesex County will begin monthly services on this date leading up to the launch of weekly services here on Sept. 15.
