Metuchen Student Selected For Summer Leadership Conference

FAIRFAX, Va. — Christine Nwachukwu of Metuchen, a student at John F Kennedy Memorial High School, has been selected to represent New Jersey as a National Youth Delegate at the 2013 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University.

Nwachukwu has been awarded the opportunity to join a select group of 250 students from across the country to participate in an intensive week-long study of leadership in environmental science and conservation. Nwachukwu was chosen based on academic accomplishments and a demonstrated interest and excellence in leadership in the sciences and conservation studies.

The Washington Youth Summit on the Environment will be held June 23-28.
