NEW BRUNSWICK — Middlesex County Freeholder Deputy Director Ronald G. Rios speaks to students at New Brunswick Middle School on Jan. 18 as part of a program sponsored by Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement (HISPA). Rios discussed with a crowd of about 52 students and faculty caring for family, setting goals and pursuing your interests. “It’s important to encourage our youth, giving them the lessons we’ve learned growing up and motivating them to succeed,” said Rios. “It’s my duty to represent our children, too.” HISPA is a youth development program with a focus on the Latino community.
