LINDEN — A 49-year-old city resident was fatally injured after being struck by a 2004 Honda Civic in the middle of the 400 block of West Elizabeth Avenue last week.
Bogdan Babel was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Rahway about an hour after the fatal collision, which took place at 6:06 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The driver of the Honda, identified by police as Troy L. Faulcon, 38, of Rahway, was not injured.
Linden police are still investigation the collision. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the Linden Police Traffic Bureau at 1-908-474-8505.
