RHS Track Team Has Strong Showing At State Relay Championships

TOMS RIVER — At the State Relay Championships held at Bennett Center in Toms River on January 13, the Rahway Indians finished a strong third in the team standings. The Indians took second place in both the Shuttle Hurdle Relay and the 4 x 800 Meter Relay, in addition to earning third place in the Sprint Medley Relay. Harlan Clarke and Kazeem Otun participated in two of those relays.

The Lady Indians finished 22nd in the team standings, led by a strong showing in the 4 x 800 Meter Relay, where the team of Zaverna Stephen, Damonique Harris, Tiffany Walker and Maritza Polynice finished fifth and ran the third fastest time in school history.
