LINDEN – To build background knowledge of Japanese culture for their reading of “The Magic Treehouse-Night of the Ninjas,” Ms. Gil’s “Tools of the Mind” Kindergarten classroom at School 8 held a Japanese Tea Ceremony. Ms. Gil dressed up as a Japanese host and served tea and cookies. At the end, the children bowed and said, “arigatou,” “thank you” in Japanese.
