CLARK — Students in Christine Cemelli’s fourth grade class at Valley Road School finish a science unit about electricity and magnetism. With their lab groups, students conducted an experiment to determine what an electromagnet is and how to create them. The students then discussed how to make an electromagnet stronger or weaker. The class then determined how electromagnets are alike and different from regular magnets and their uses in our everyday world.
