Eleanor “Ellie” Paslawsky, age 85, of Wall Township passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Care One of Wall. She was born on Feb. 2, 1927 in Hillside, the daughter of Julius and Lydia Schneider. She graduated from Hillside High School and resided in Rahway for 58 years before moving to the shore area. She currently resided at Sunrise of Wall.
Eleanor is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 33 years, Nicholas P. Paslawsky, her loving partner of 15 years, Henry “Hank” Cerami, and her brother Robert Schneider. She is the beloved mother of Bruce A. Preston ( Judy ), the late William G. Paslawsky ( Carol “Tika” ), and Nicholas W. Paslawsky ( Cris ). Grandmother of Gregory, Katie, Lindsay, Alexander, Zachary, Meredith, Emma, Cera, and Nicholas. Great Grandmother of Sidney and Elise. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was a dedicated homemaker and mother. In later years she worked for the City of Rahway retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Rahway.
