Assemblyman Peter J. Barnes III
MIDDLESEX COUNTY – Assemblyman Peter Barnes III is expected to run for Barbara Buono’s state Senate seat with the support of the Middlesex County Democratic Committee, according to a report by PolitickerNJ.
Buono is seeking the governor’s office and will not run for re-election to the state Senate.
Barnes is an attorney from Edison who has served in the Assembly since 2007.
