CLARK — Students in Miss Cemelli’s fourth grade class at Valley Road School celebrated a successful first marking period before the school’s winter break. After working extremely hard for months, the students were treated with a holiday party. Thanks to class parents, Mrs. Popp and Mrs. Szymczak, students were able to decorate cookies and create gift boxes filled with treats to bring home. Miss Cemelli states, “The class was exhilarated to decorate the cookies and it was obvious the class parents put in a lot of hard work into creating such a fun activity. It was the perfect way to end the first marking period!” Pictured above are Michelle Kukan, Alyssa Grandal, Adrian Skiba, Jason Szymczak, and Marisa Venturella.
